Position Overview:

Tandhan Polyplast Limited is looking for an experienced and technically strong Head of Maintenance to lead the Maintenance & Engineering function at our polyplast manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead mechanical, electrical and automation maintenance across Extrusion, Spiral Cutting, Lamination and Reprocessing units.
• Develop and implement Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) programs to maximise equipment uptime and reliability.
• Drive breakdown maintenance, Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and corrective actions.
• Oversee plant utilities, including chillers, compressors, power distribution and boilers.
• Manage spare parts, maintenance resources, machine overhauls and equipment improvement projects.
• Ensure adherence to EHS, statutory requirements, SOPs and quality standards.
• Lead TPM and continuous improvement initiatives focused on OEE, energy efficiency and operational reliability.
• Build, mentor and lead a high-performing maintenance and engineering team.

Candidate Profile:

• Qualification: B.Tech / B.E. / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Experience: 10+ years in maintenance within the plastic manufacturing industry
• Hands-on experience in extrusion, lamination and recycling processes
• Strong knowledge of PLC & drive troubleshooting, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Proven capabilities in team leadership, maintenance planning and inventory management
