Job Purpose:

• To manage and control the overall technical and operational activities related to denim fabric manufacturing, ensuring consistent product quality, customer requirements, and compliance with defined standards.
• The position will be responsible for coordinating with Production, Quality Assurance and Marketing teams to ensure smooth manufacturing operations and timely resolution of technical and quality-related issues.

Key Responsibilities: A. Denim Manufacturing & Process Control

• Monitor the complete denim fabric manufacturing process from yarn receipt to finished fabric.
• Ensure effective process control at various stages of manufacturing.
• Identify process deviations and coordinate with concerned teams for timely corrective action.

B. Production Coordination

• Coordinate with Production teams to ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing operations.
• Identify bottlenecks and support corrective actions to improve productivity while maintaining quality.
• Support production teams in reducing rework, rejection, downgrade and process losses.

C. Quality Assurance & Process Quality

• Ensure incoming yarn and raw materials meet approved specifications.
• Monitor quality parameters at every stage of the manufacturing process.
• Review laboratory test results and fabric inspection reports.
• Ensure final fabric meets approved quality standards before dispatch.
• Participate in the analysis and closure of customer complaints.
• Conduct root-cause analysis for major quality issues and ensure effective corrective and preventive actions.

D. Cost Reduction & Productivity Improvement

• Conduct technical feasibility studies for cost-saving and process-improvement proposals.
• Identify opportunities for reducing manufacturing costs and process losses.
• Ensure that cost-reduction initiatives do not compromise approved quality standards.
• Monitor and report savings achieved through process improvement initiatives.
